Why spend your whole holiday doing just one thing? We’ve squeezed our most
popular workshops into one high-octane “Power Day” at Huxley School of Makeup.
From cinematic gore in the morning to polished “glow-up” hair and beauty in the
afternoon, this is for the teens who want to master the full spectrum. It’s hands-on,
it’s creative, and honestly, it’s the best way to spend a Thursday.
The Morning: SFX & Cinematic Gore
We’re starting the day messy. Forget “pretty”, we’re talking deep bruises, fresh scars,
and the professional blood textures they actually use on movie sets.
● The Skills: Experiment on yourself with industry-grade tools.
● The Vibe: Learn how to tell a story through makeup (and maybe scare your
parents later).
The Afternoon: Make up and Hair Fundamentals
1:00 PM – 5:00 PM | $299
After a quick lunch break, we pivot to the “Glow Up.” This double-header covers
everything you need to look polished without looking like you tried too hard.
● Makeup: Master the “Aussie Girl Make-up” look and learn how to actually use
(and clean!) your brushes.
● Hair: We’re teaching Bubble Braids and Wand Curls on pro mannequins.
