Now, we’re proud to introduce the next evolution of that vision: The CUA60620 Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media (Specialist Makeup Services) a program years in the making and unlike anything else in Australia.
Delivered in partnership with TAFE Queensland, this six-month, nationally recognised qualification redefines professional makeup education.
On successful completion:
- Students are awarded Australia’s highest professional makeup qualification,
- Receive twelve months of extended studio access
- Year-long membership to the Australian Production Design Guild.

Course Content
- Design and create advanced prosthetics and creature effects
- Learn how to develop and design a head to toe character.
- Sculpt, mould, and cast 3D characters or props.
- Full head and body life casting.
- Experiment with AI and digital makeup applications
- Develop your own makeup brand or business concept
- Master beauty and editorial techniques for commercial shoots
- Build a professional portfolio with headshots and campaign imagery
- Participate in a professional headshot session for your own personal branding and resumes.
