SFX Prosthetics Masterclass sculpt, mould, apply, transform

Go beyond makeup and into the world of special effects — sculpting, moulding and applying a prosthetic piece of your very own.

A full-day, hands-on look at the behind-the-scenes craft used to bring film characters and creatures to life. Take one session, or do both and follow your piece all the way from sculpture to finished transformation.

  • Demould and prep your finished prosthetic
  • How pros take an idea from sculpture to wearable SFX

Apply, Paint & Transform

  • Professional prosthetic application & adhesives
  • Blending for seamless edges
  • Colour matching and painting
  • Skin tone, texture and realistic detail
  • Finishing techniques that make it look real

Bold, colourful and seriously creative. Build a statement editorial look on a model, inspired by the vibrant, artistic work of Lara Larrson.

This isn't your everyday makeup class. It's three hours to experiment with colour, explore your creativity and push past traditional makeup — guided by Huxley educators in a professional makeup school. Whether you're dreaming of a makeup career or simply love colour, you'll leave inspired and more confident.

Dramatic, daring and deliciously over the top. Four hours to master the artistry behind a polished, exaggerated and seriously fabulous drag look.

Led by one of our key professional artists with extensive industry experience, this hands-on session takes you through the techniques used to transform, sculpt and exaggerate the face — because sometimes, subtle simply isn't the point. Makeup artists, performers, drag enthusiasts or the simply curious: come ready to transform.
